What To Bring

LINEN

It is clearly stated on each property listing if the property is LINEN PROVIDED OR LINEN NOT PROVIDED – HIRE AVAILABLE LINEN PROVIDED means that all linen is provided. You will only be required to bring your beach towels!
LINEN NOT PROVIDED means you will need to bring sheets (top sheet and bottom (fitted) sheet), pillowcases, towels, bathmats, hand towels, face washers & tea towels. Doonas with Doona covers and pillows will be supplied. If you wish to hire, make contact with our office with substantial notice and we will provide a contact for you to for LINEN HIRE

AMENITIES

Whilst some holiday accommodation properties have small quantities of washing powder, detergents, soap and toilet paper, it is expected that you will need to bring extras of these supplies depending upon your length of stay.

FIREWOOD

Unless specifically identified within the online listing, properties featuring wood fires will supply firewood MAY – OCTOBER ONLY. Kindling & firelighters may need to be supplied by you. Fireplaces are to be operated efficiently at all times.

PANTRY ITEMS

As a general rule, pantry items are NOT provided. Many properties offer a selection of stocked items to get you going but please do not expect these.

Checking In

We’re excited about your visit to The Great Ocean Road!
Check in time is 3pm, unless otherwise arranged. Keys can be collected during business hours from the office that manages the property you have booked. We have 4 offices, located in Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne, and Apollo Bay. If you are unsure which office manages your property, please get in touch.

After hours key collection

If you are arriving after business hours please inform the office that manages your booking ASAP to pre arrange an after hour key collection.

Payments

Unless otherwise arranged, all payments are due before arrival. Keys will not be available to collect unless the property has been paid in full.

Cleaning

The property you are visiting is professionally cleaned. If it doesn’t feel this way, let us know right away and we will check it out.

Respect

The property is part of a small community. Remember you are staying in someone’s cherished holiday home so please show you care .Respect is the key.

Local Knowledge

We want to make sure you have the best time ever. We also want to share our local knowledge with you so don’t be afraid to ask about our secret spot.

Checking Out

We hope you have had an amazing stay! Unless you have a previous arrangement or sms notification, check out time is 10am.

Departure Checklist

Clean out the fridge and freezer. Wash, dry and put away all dishes. Put the garbage bins out. **Excess, rubbish can be taken to communal rubbish bins in town so please do not leave excess rubbish next to bins, this will incur a fine. Clean the BBQ. Check bedrooms and bathrooms to make sure nothing is left behind. Lock doors and windows. Turn all lights (including outside lights), heaters and air con units off. All furniture including outdoor is to be positioned in the same location as on arrival at the property. Please do not strip beds. Keys to be returned to relevant Great Ocean Road Real Estate office.
